Audio At NAB 2026
Video shows us what’s going on, but audio tells us how to feel about it. As we look forward to another round of technology launches, announcements and partnerships, we gather all the news about what audio vendors exhibiting on the show floor have to say.
Audio is not just a key part of broadcasting; it is its emotional heart and it is what enables a production to deliver that punch in the gut that remains after the images have moved on. But it’s no longer just about managing and mixing the sound to accompany those images. Today, sound engineers have much more on their plate, crafting immersive and personalized mixes and dealing with ongoing advances in object-based mixing, processing and delivery. Meanwhile, wider changes in the industry are demanding more output mixes, for more channels, and across some very distributed workflows.
Thankfully, most manufacturers are already on board and are developing equipment to ease this shift, and below you will find our selection of NAB-specific press releases from exhibitors aiming to do exactly that. For us at The Broadcast Bridge, that means the following technology areas:
- Microphones.
- Speakers & Headphones.
- Comms.
- Consoles.
- Processing Tools.
- Loudness Monitoring.
- AoIP.
The press releases listed below are what we have received to date - we will add new items as they come in.
