Network Technologies At NAB 2026

A broadcast ecosystem lives and dies on its connectivity, and how we connect, control, monitor and exchange data between each element in that ecosystem has never been more important – or more complicated. As we look forward to another round of technology launches, announcements and partnerships, we gather all the news about how vendors are helping broadcasters maintain robust networks as their requirements grow.

Networks are at the very heart of a broadcast infrastructure, joining up a continually evolving combination of old and new technologies, enabling new ways to work, and unlocking brand new workflows.

With the uptake in remote and distributed production there is a growing desire to capitalize on more software-based workflows, while the promise of automation promise to help simplify all our lives. To enable all this the industry is dealing with all manner of different codecs and systems, and orchestration of all this will be top of mind for many visitors to NAB.

Below you will find our selection of the NAB Show specific press releases sent to us by vendors involved with a range of network technologies. For The Broadcast Bridge, that means the following technology areas:

  • Gateway products that interconnect SDI infrastructure with IP infrastructure.
  • Software tools used to orchestrate and manage devices.
  • Tools to manage & monitor network infrastructure and network essence & metadata flows.
  • Timing & Tally infrastructure.

The press releases listed below are what we have received to date - we will add new items as they come in.
