Codemill Demonstrate Cantemo 6 At IBC

The updated version of Codemill’s Cantemo is being demonstrated at IBC 2023 for the first time, following previews of the software’s design at last year’s show. The new version, Cantemo 6, features an entirely refreshed User Interface (UI), improved usability, and now includes Codemill’s highly regarded Accurate.Player as the default media player.

Built for integration, Cantemo 6, the hybrid-cloud Media Asset Management (MAM) software, features improvements to the UI and User Experience (UX) designs, with a simplified user interface when searching and filtering results. The asset page layouts have been redesigned and new on-screen action buttons have been introduced for an optimised UX.

Additionally, Cantemo 6 now features Accurate.Player as the default media player. Accurate.Player is an advanced browser-based player with frame-accurate playback, multiple subtitles and audio-switching alongside extensive keyboard controls and powerful content security.

Cantemo runs on customer or partner managed infrastructure (such as physical servers, Virtual Machines in private/public cloud, or in a hybrid combination), with the ability to manage collections, assets, versions, and metadata, across all major storage platforms and services. In the backend, Cantemo uses powerful Vidispine media backbone REST APIs and is available globally through channel partners, as a user-based software subscription.
