XL8 Feature Collaborative Localization Platform Empowered By Generative AI

XL8, a deep-tech startup specializing in AI-powered machine translation technology, has unveiled MediaCAT 3.0, featuring enhanced collaborative capabilities, at IBC 2023.

MediaCAT, XL8's proprietary media localization system, empowers users with cutting-edge AI engines crafted specifically for the media and entertainment localization sector. By adding generative AI, the upgrade to version 3.0 introduces a range of advanced collaborative features, including automated sequential workflows, along with a comprehensive suite of administrative functions. This encompasses efficient team and freelancer management, as well as customizable project creation.

MediaCAT 3.0 introduces a suite of generative AI-powered translation editing tools that significantly enhance the user experience. These tools have been designed to streamline tasks and include features such as auto-complete-style translations, realtime context adaptive correction suggestions, arrangement adjustments, and automatic recommendations.

MediaCAT 3.0 not only offers powerful AI tools, but it also offers thoughtfully designed components to effectively manage the localization workflow, all of which are readily available for seamless integration into diverse platforms via API. XL8 is collaborating with leading global localization experts including Ooona, Alpha CRC, Blu Digital Group, and Giant Worldwide to incorporate MediaCAT 3.0’s capabilities into their systems later this year.

XL8's demonstrations will feature practical examples showcasing the simple integration of its advanced AI machine translation and transcription capabilities with globally recognized language service providers. This demonstration aptly highlights how these upgraded AI technologies easily integrate into the intricate landscape of localization workflows.

XL8 is also showcasing its EventCAT solution, which delivers real-time subtitles, synthetic voices, and dubbing for live broadcasts. Additionally, XL8’s Zoom integrated app offers live translated subtitles for online meetings.
