IP Showcase Returns To IBC 2022 To Highlight Progress In Adoption Of Media Over IP
The Audio Engineering Society (AES), Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Society of Motion Picture and Technology Engineers (SMPTE), and the Video Services Forum (VSF) has announced the IP Showcase will be at IBC 2022.
The IP Showcase is committed to educating attendees at major industry events on the business and creative potential of IP media solutions. At IBC 2022, the IP Showcase will be focused on the progress in SMPTE ST 2110, AES 67, and IPMX that supports scalable, flexible, affordable, and accessible IP media systems and continues to address market requirements as media operations move toward all-IP connectivity and content delivery to multiscreen platforms. IP Showcase organizers are hosting both technical presentations and demonstrations that provide useful guidance and examples to media organizations making this critical shift.
Attendees can learn more about work happening within SMPTE, AES, EBU, VSF, and AMWA; how the evolving SMPTE ST 2110 standards and the AMWA NMOS technology stack are improving media workflows; and how the Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMX) proposed set of open standards and specifications is being implemented, and its future possibilities. Along with technical paper presentations on these and other topics, the IP Showcase will feature basic tutorials tailored to newcomers in the field of IP video production, as well as case studies from real-world installations.
