Flowics And Grass Valley Partner For Cloud-Based Graphics

Flowics Graphics says it supports the GV Media Universe Alliance to add broadcast-quality HTML5 cloud-based graphics to live productions.

Flowics Graphics enables the creation of graphic overlays for all kinds of productions. Providing numerous creative building blocks, data connectors, as well as options for customization and animation, the solution can be integrated with Grass Valley AMPP-supported production switching, master control, and other production tools.

“Graphics have been widely pinpointed as a target for accelerated adoption of the cloud across broadcast, and conversations with our own customer base indicate a growing reliance on cloud-based workflows,” said Flowics CEO and Founder Gabriel Baños. “Thanks to the integration of these two solutions, broadcasters and other content creators will be able to experience the benefits of an end-to-end, fully cloud-based workflow for graphics overlay production.”

“Flowics Graphics is a proven graphics overlay solution that has resonated with broadcasters, content services, and other production teams due to its impressive flexibility and feature set,” said Costa Nikols, vice president global sales enablement and training at GV. “As part of the GV Media Universe combined ecosystem of technology and business solutions, Flowics Graphics and AMPP together will make it easier for graphics customers around the world to accelerate their migration to the cloud.”
