Globecast Launch Content Exchange Platform Powered By Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Globecast, a leading provider of broadcast, media, and entertainment managed services, has announced the launch of its Content Exchange platform powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), a new cloud-enabled solution designed to simplify and scale modern streaming and live video workflows.

The announcement marks a significant milestone in Globecast’s transformation beyond traditional signal transport into a full-service, cloud-driven media operations partner. Built for the realities of today’s hybrid broadcast and OTT environment, Content Exchange introduces a unified orchestration layer that seamlessly connects satellite, fiber, IP, and cloud workflows into a single operational framework, and therefore supports any acquisition and delivery mechanism under consideration for C-Band replacement in North America.

Fully integrated with OCI, the platform leverages high-performance multi-cloud infrastructure to deliver low-latency transport, scalable processing, and cost-efficient media movement at global scale. The collaboration provides streaming platforms and content owners with the flexibility to transition to cloud-based or hybrid distribution models without compromising reliability or performance.

Content Exchange is already proven in live production environments, with Premier Padel becoming the first major sports organization to deploy the platform. By moving from traditional satellite distribution to a fully IP and cloud-based workflow, Premier Padel can efficiently manage multiple live feeds and deliver tailored content to global rights holders.

Content Exchange is central to Globecast’s broader strategy to help customers reduce operational complexity and accelerate time to market. Acting as a single, accountable partner, Globecast manages workflows end-to-end across acquisition, production, playout, and distribution—supporting use cases ranging from live event streaming and remote production to cloud playout and large-scale OTT delivery.
