Flowics Inks Deal With SportsTV Rights For Graphics And Data Integration In Soccer Broadcasts

Flowics has announced a three-year agreement with Bolivia’s SportsTV Rights, which produces all professional soccer in Bolivia. SportsTV Rights will use Flowics Graphics and the Stats Perform data connector to integrate live game information and statistics into its live productions.

This season, the production company SportsTV Rights is relying on Flowics tools for live broadcasts of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers on Tigo Sports and other pay-TV channels in Bolivia. As part of the same agreement, the production company will use Flowics when transmitting matches of the professional Bolivian football league, also on Tigo Sports Bolivia.

“We were looking for a more flexible graphics production workflow with faster turnaround, and that’s just what we got with Flowics Graphics. Besides providing a flexible and cost-effective solution that meets all of our technical and artistic needs, Flowics gives us the tools to create new brandable and monetizable segments, such as our ‘Man of the Match’ polls, which open up new opportunities to increase advertising inventory in the future,” said José Maria Quiroga, general manager of SportsTV Rights.”

The fully cloud-based Flowics Graphics platform fits perfectly into SportsTV Rights’ existing production flows, giving the producers an agile, customized, and flexible tool for creating broadcast-quality graphics with 24/7 support.

With Flowics, SportsTV Rights could adapt the same graphics package to different tournaments quickly and easily. Unlike the company’s previous on-premises graphics solution, Flowics Graphics operates in the cloud, which gives SportsTV Rights more flexibility in its production workflows. Any changes in graphics packages created with Flowics are easier and faster to implement, resulting in lower costs for creative services.

Importantly, through the Flowics Graphics Stats Perform data connector, a live integration with Stats Perform SDAPI, SportsTV Rights can automatically populate its live graphics with up-to-the-minute soccer stats. While there is an extensive range of sports statistics available, sports broadcast producers like SportsTV Rights end up using just a small fraction of it because of the complexity of certain feeds and the effort it takes to produce broadcast graphics. Flowics solves this problem by integrating with Stats Perform directly.

“We’re delighted with our long-term partnership with SportsTV Rights, which is a big milestone for Flowics. It represents our first implementation of Flowics Graphics and the Stats Perform data connector for a fully automated live sports production in Latin America,” said Leandro Piñeiro, customer success manager at Flowics. “It reinforces the trend we see in the market, which is that more and more productions are moving to the cloud and choosing cloud-based, HTML5 graphics in lieu of traditional and more complex solutions.”
