Veset Teams With MainConcept To Support Traditional Hardware
Veset has partnered with MainConcept to ensure compliance with more traditional hardware systems and analysers.
Veset has integrated MainConcept products that include OTT Content Creation for GStreamer and the HEVC/H.265 and AVC/H.264 Encoder SDKs.
Veset’s cloud playout platforms enable video providers to create and manage live channels. It offers two main solutions: Veset Stratus, a more simplified channel management platform, and Veset Nimbus, an enterprise-level cloud playout solution which enables advanced channel management.
MainConcept provides video and audio codecs, plugins, and applications to the production, streaming, and broadcast industries. Customers are able to distribute channels to any broadcast-grade distribution platform, including satellite and cable.
Igor Krol, CEO, Veset, commented: “Our solutions are fully cloud-based, enabling our customers to maximise the flexibility, scalability, and efficiency the cloud delivers. At the same time, we want to make sure they can integrate any other tool and deliver content to any platform imaginable. MainConcept is the piece of the puzzle making that possible.”
Deacon Johnson, Senior Vice President, Technology Licensing & Strategy, MainConcept, added: “Linear TV providers are challenged with rising competition from OTT and need to adapt to remain relevant. Veset’s solutions are revolutionizing linear channel management. Being able to integrate with more traditional hardware makes it easy for customers to transition to cloud or hybrid workflows without losing any quality.”
