Otherwise known as PTP (Precision Time Protocol), this packet switched protocol presents us with new and interesting challenges never experienced in broadcasting before.

X-Y matrix SDI switchers are at the heart of every broadcast operation and their non-blocking characteristics have been assumed and taken for granted.
