Subscription programming provider, Starz, has refresh its post-production workflow and IT facilities with a series of Hitachi kit and Scale Logic’s HyperFS file system. In particular, the entertainment company chose a Content Platform (HCP) with Hitachi Unified Storage VM (HUS VM) from Hitachi Data Systems Corporation (HDS).

The release is designed to make the management of professional video and production assets more efficient, accessible and cost effective, the company said.
