Telestream has introduced UP.Lens, a cloud-based multiviewer and monitoring service that provides real-time visibility into contribution feeds across distributed production environments. UP.Lens is part of Telestream UP, a cloud-native platform that supports global ingest, orchestration, review, and real-time monitoring for modern production workflows.
UP.Lens introduces an “Eyes-on-Glass” multiviewer that delivers real-time visual confidence alongside a built-in troubleshooting “time-machine” that allows operators to rewind and analyze issues as they occur. Together, these capabilities give engineering and production teams the visibility and context needed to monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues before they impact live production.
Operators can monitor multiple incoming streams simultaneously, visually confirm signal integrity, and quickly identify issues such as packet loss, jitter, black and frozen frames, or audio silence before they impact production or distribution.

While IP-based protocols such as SRT make it possible to transport high-quality video over long distances, they also introduce new complexities in monitoring signal health across distributed infrastructure.
