Globecast Delivers Comprehensive Broadcast Services To RACER Network

Globecast, a leading provider of broadcast, media and entertainment managed services, has announced a partnership with RACER Network, the global motorsports television network headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Globecast will provide RACER Network with a comprehensive suite of cloud playout, live integration, satellite distribution, IP and terrestrial transport services to deliver sports content to consumers via the RACER Network and RACER+ streaming app.
RACER, the most followed and diverse motorsports and auto enthusiast platform in North America, will broadcast over 300 live races in 2025 along with race highlights, build shows, live car auctions, talk shows, and more. RACER Network turned to Globecast to take advantage of its advanced graphics capabilities, improve its overall quality of service, and seamlessly integrate its workflow into next-generation technology. Globecast's deep video expertise made it an ideal partner as RACER Network looks to enhance its viewer experience.
RACER Network uses Globecast’s advanced broadcast technologies to ensure high-quality content delivery, including integration of a new scheduling system with a cloud playout solution for live events.
Globecast's new facility in Westlake Village, California offers a cloud-based platform providing fully redundant playout capabilities, with RACER Network uploading approximately 2TB of file-based content monthly from AWS S3 storage service to Globecast's MCR for scheduling, monitoring, quality control and reporting. In addition to satellite distribution, Globecast manages the channel delivery to major OTT platforms such as YouTube TV and Hulu.
For live events, Globecast will also provide integrated services, including technical and artistic directors for live integration of RACER Network’s events. These will be delivered to Globecast via terrestrial, satellite or IP sources from the live event venues. Globecast’s master control provides ingestion and switching between automated playback during server-based programming and manual switching during RACER Network’s live events.
