Mid-West Family Selects Elenos Group To Deliver New Transmitters

Upgrades two Benton Harbor, MI, USA stations with ETG-2000 FM Transmitters.
Broadcast Electronics, part of the Elenos Group, a global leader in designing and manufacturing broadcast products, including transmitters for TV, AM, FM, HD Radio and media software recently delivered two Elenos ETG-2000 transmitters to long-time customer Mid-West Family of South West Michigan.
Mid-West Family added redundancy for two of its signals in Benton Harbor, MI, where they operate eight radio stations and several hyper-local digital media platforms.
All Elenos ETG line of transmitters employ several unique features that deliver high efficiency and long-term, reliable operation. All circuit boards have a special coating, coupled with an aluminum chassis to protect from corrosion and deliver longevity. Redundant fans ensure ample air flow for cool operations and the exclusive lifeXtender control algorithm keeps the transmitter operating at the highest safe power level even in the event of total fan failure.
