Maxon Adds Unreal Engine Support To Magic Bullet

Maxon has released its first Service Pack upgrade of Magic Bullet Version 15.1, including support for Epic Games’ latest Unreal Engine 4.

This allows users to employ the toolset from the Magic Bullet Looks plugin as a post-process volume or viewport effect.

The update also incorporates AVX support for Cosmo, Mojo, Film, and Renoiser, providing four new tools, offering greater creative flexibility for Avid editors and colorists. Additionally, Maxon’s Denoiser noise reduction plugin has received Metal compatibility and optimization for Apple Silicon-powered Macs, as well as support for Multi-Frame Rendering (MFR) in Adobe After Effects. Along with these key compatibility updates, minor enhancements and stability improvements are included with this maintenance release.

This update is immediately available for all Red Giant Complete and Maxon One subscribers. Users are encouraged to update immediately through the Maxon App, clicking the button, “Try the new Magic Bullet Suite” to start the download.

Maxon, a developer of software for content creators working in 2D and 3D design, motion graphics, visual effects and visualization, is part of the Nemetschek Group.
