SAPEC Launch Sivac-one COMPACT Encoder

Sivac-one COMPACT is a robust and high-quality solution designed on a portable, lightweight, and very low-power platform to perfectly adapt to the most demanding live video transport applications where simplicity, reliability and low latency are the key requirements.

Sivac-one COMPACT is a real-time encoding solution based on the well-known Sivac-ONE Media Processor (SMP) card, designed for HEVC/h.265 video transport 4:2:2/4:2:0 and 10 bits per pixel.

It provides a highly reliable video transport with latencies lower than 150ms, making it the ideal solution for interactive video applications such as sports contributions, live events, news, remote production and return feed signal.

In such compact hardware and with a consumption below 30 Watts, this model is capable of processing 1x 4K UHD video channel (HDR, WCG) with resolution 2160p50/60 or up to 4x channels FHD/HD with resolutions up to 1080p50/60. In both cases supporting of up to 16 channels of digital audio (stereo).

Like SMP, the Compact version offers different possibilities for Input/Output to suit the needs of each project. Available inputs are 12G/4x3G/HD/SD-SDI and 2xDVB-ASI or 2xIP UDP/RTP outputs with FEC SMPTE 2022-1/2/7 (Multicast/Unicast).

The Compact version offers the possibility of dual redundant source 12Vdc, which differentiates it from other portable solutions on the market. It also has built-in 2 SFP/SFP+ 10G connectors for future applications.

With this solution, Sapec meets the needs of different 4K applications, for example when the conditions of mobile connections (5G/4G/3G) are not ideal, and transport over IP or ASI is needed, still with a solution that is easy to transport and operate.
