LEWITT stands for high-performance microphones designed to deliver fresh, modern sound for memorable recordings.
LEWITT was founded in 2008 by Roman Perschon and officially launched in January 2010. With product design, engineering and marketing in Vienna and manufacturing in LEWITT’s own facility, Roman led his team to pursue new, progressive microphone designs driven by the urge for innovation, versatility and the ultimate bang-for-the-buck. The results are most apparent through the whole product line.
With a full range of professional microphones, LEWITT has established itself as a solid choice for every recording artist and a wide range of applications.
Innovation is one of the main ingredients giving LEWITT microphones their distinctive flavor shortly followed by their modern and uncolored sound. The highly flexible LCT 940 combining a tube and an FET microphone in one housing, the LCT 640 TS with its ability to change the polar pattern after the recording or the super-low self-noise LCT 540 S follow the same idea as the streamlined LCT 440 PURE – the best-possible sound for every recording. LEWITT also offers a wide range of live microphones for vocals and instruments likewise.
Official LEWITT endorsers underline the quality of the products. Artists and bands like Yngwie Malmsteen, Walk Off The Earth and Annihilator will not risk their good reputation by supporting mediocre products. Engineers and producers like the 2018 Grammy Award winners The Stereotypes, Bryant Siono or J.P Negrete as well as world-famous recording studios like Serenity West, Hybrid Studios and the Atlantic Recording Studio trust in LEWITT microphones.
