Canon has bolstered its 2/3in UHD broadcast lens range with the launch of two new broadcast field zoom lenses in 4K Premium optical quality. Firstly, the UHD DigiSuper 122, with a 122:1 zoom range (8.2 – 1000 mm) and secondly, the UHD DigiSuper 111, which offers a long focal length and high zoom ratio for a wide range of shooting scenarios.
Cooke Optics have added a 50mm focal length lens to its Anamorphic/i family at IBC 2018. This addition has been designed to meet the growing appetite for large format production, while applying the popular anamorphic characteristics including flare and oval bokeh.
Fujifilm has announced the scheduled release date for their Fujinon UA46x9.5 portable lens, first announced at the 2018 NAB Show. The 46:1 zoom is designed for 4K video production or to support HD broadcast cameras.
