AWS Brings AI-Powered Scale To Storytellers At NAB 2026

At this year’s NAB, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has prepared a lineup of live demonstrations, speaking sessions, and interactive experiences that showcase the latest capabilities in cloud and AI technologies, with a focus on the power of agentic AI for media organizations and creators.

Experience AI-accelerated innovation
Stop by their for a firsthand look at real-world examples of how agentic AI technology on AWS is transforming media and entertainment. Booth visitors can explore how AWS is enabling automation for more complex tasks and workflows, helping organizations move faster, scale operations more easily, and increase revenue streams. With agentic AI on AWS, customers can accelerate the creative process, understand and monetize video archives, distribute personalized content across multiple platforms, and more, all without manual coordination.

Among the many services and solutions featured in the booth, AWS Elemental Inference will showcase how AWS has solved a critical challenge for broadcasters and streamers: reaching mobile audiences in real time. The new fully managed service applies AI in parallel with live video encoding, enabling broadcasters and streamers to automate 16:9 vertical video creation in 6-10 seconds. Gen-Z viewers consume 88% of streaming content on smartphones and 92% engage with mobile video platforms, and this shift to mobile-first, AI-powered distribution allows content owners to more easily reach those audiences. With AWS Elemental Inference, broadcasters and streamers can take a “process once, optimize everywhere” approach as they build next-generation entertainment experiences. The service integrates seamlessly with existing AWS Elemental MediaLive and MediaConvert workflows, and customers including Fox Sports Digital and NBCUniversal are already benefiting from its real-time creation capabilities.

Take the Cloud Court Challenge in the West Hall Lobby. Created together with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), the Cloud Court Challenge lets attendees put their basketball skills to the test. The activation showcases how the cloud and AI can influence athletic performance and fan engagement. Participants will receive real-time performance insights through detailed data analysis and computer vision and take home their own player card and social video.

Discover the innovations media companies are already making with the cloud through 20+ AWS Theater sessions featuring Prime Video, AMC, Sinclair, Fan Duel, the National Basketball Association (NBA), Graham Media, and a AI Studio Startup Spotlight on Wednesday in the AWS Theater. For hands-on technical workshops, experience the new Builder Lab located on the back of the AWS Theater.

Check out the Amazon Entertainment Loft on level 2 of the West Hall to uncover the many ways that emerging AWS technology powers Amazon Luna, Prime Video, and Fire TV under-the-hood. Drop by to network, play the latest games, and talk with Amazon subject matter experts.

On Sunday from 4:00–5:00 PM, join AWS for Women in Media: Walk the Floor. The guided experience brings together women in media and technology for an inspiring afternoon of innovation, connection, and celebration. Beginning at the AWS booth, the tour will take attendees through a curated selection of AWS Partner booths, concluding at the Amazon Entertainment Loft with a champagne toast to innovative women.

Hear from AI and cloud pioneers
AWS will contribute to several speaking engagements during the week, including a Main Stage session on Monday focused on the Fox Corporation’s cloud transformation journey. AWS will also speak on three sessions on Tuesday during the Sports Summit, which will explore how production, distribution, investment, and policy are reshaping live sports experiences and driving new revenue. For the first time, the Sports Summit is open to all attendees with a Show Floor Pass.
