Bitfocus Showcases Complete Control At NAB Show 2026

Bitfocus, a specialist in media control and monitoring, will bring the latest version of its enterprise-class Buttons software to NAB Show. The team will also discuss new functionality which is in the pipeline to make the platform more comprehensive.

Buttons is designed to take complex, multi-vendor technology stacks and bring it under simple, clear and reliable control. With a library of APIs far exceeding 500 – and new partners like Sennheiser joining – every popular and widely-used piece of equipment can be brought into the Buttons environment, where users can design complex workflows, with simple control at each critical position.

Recently released, version 1.6 of Buttons enhances still further its enterprise capabilities. It ensures high availability through the ability to run the core software on three computers or virtual machines in parallel for guaranteed non-stop performance. Users design interfaces, with precisely the right controls, for computers, tablets or specialist hardware like the Elgato Stream Deck family, to ensure intuitive performance under pressure.

The latest release also enhances security through comprehensive user and role management, linked to enterprise single sign-on environments where appropriate. Authentication can also use tokens, passkeys or WebAuthn. Multi-site and remote productions benefit from hardened security in all control communications.
