Dagens Industri Moves To New Base With nxtedition
Di TV implements its own nxtedition platform for continuity.
Dagens Industri, the popular Swedish financial publisher, has moved to a new base in the Nasdaq building in Stockholm from its old home Expressen newspaper group. At Expressen it used their nxtedition production platform for Di TV, its live and streamed media service, and so smoothed the move by installing its own system as part of the move.
Di TV is already a popular and respected voice in the Swedish financial community. Its flagship programme “Börsmorgon”, launched in 2016, is one of the country’s most popular sources for stock market and economic news. Now it will broadcast from a studio right next to the stock exchange floor.
“Being physically seated among the Stockholm stock exchange’s participants gives us a unique opportunity to have the best guests in the studio,” said Peter Fellman, editor in chief at Dagens Industri.
Built on a very agile, microservices-based software architecture, the nxtedition platform is designed to give today’s media professionals a completely frictionless environment for storytelling. Only giving users the tools they need at every stage, it is the perfect all-in-one production solution in which journalists can develop stories, producers can plan and schedule bulletins and playlists, and controllers can deliver direct to multiple delivery networks in multiple formats.
“The move to Nasdaq means we can give our output – and particularly Börsmorgon – a real boost with more exclusive interviews and in-depth analysis,” said Christian Steen, head of Di TV. “From our happy time at Expressen we have grown extremely comfortable with the way that nxtedition works, and in our new home we can push its capabilities even further, helping us get even better content online even faster.”
