New Singapore OB company invests in Calrec technology for global live sports and entertainment events including APAC and MEA broadcast markets.

In its mission to deliver live event services combining advanced engineering with a creative approach to captivating live sports and entertainment experiences, Phoenix Broadcast Solutions, a new Singapore-based live production services provider, has invested in a range of Calrec's audio broadcast technology as part of a significant multi-year enterprise partnership.

The three-year strategic agreement will see Calrec deliver its cutting-edge systems to support Phoenix Broadcast Solutions' ambitious growth plans. The first delivery this quarter included a mix of Calrec's pioneering IP Argo S and Argo M consoles, modular Type R IP mixing systems and ImPulse IP processing core. This initial Calrec IP installation phase forms the heart of Phoenix Broadcast Solutions' portable flypack infrastructure. Designed for flexible and agile deployment the fly-aways deliver the power and reliability of a full broadcast studio on-the-fly.

Phoenix Broadcast Solutions is positioning itself as a trusted partner for global broadcasters and with a roster of high-profile events coming up, the company has selected technology partners that enable its expansion over time.
