Create Engaging On-Air Graphics And Interactive Content With Flowics

New Flowics data connectors plus new integration to third-party vendors.
Flowics experts were on hand at the recent IBC 2022 exhibition to show broadcasters of all kinds how simple it is to create engaging on-air graphics and interactive content with Flowics and how easily the Flowics platform fits into their workflow.
A big focus for this year was on creating data-driven broadcast graphics using Flowics Data Connectors with Flowics Graphics and Flowics Middleware for news, weather, sports, esports, and more.
Flowics Data Connectors
Data Connectors are native integrations of external third-party data providers built into the Flowics Graphics cloud-based graphics engine. They make it possible to integrate live external data — such as live sports statistics or betting, weather, finance, and cryptocurrency data — into broadcast graphics without the time and expense of custom development or manual data entry. Instead, data flows seamlessly from third parties into Flowics Graphics and on to the designated cloud-based graphics files as directed. In this way, users can create state-of-the-art live graphics complete with the value-added information audiences expect — all within minutes and with little knowledge of graphics production.
In addition to its already robust Data Connector library, Flowics will be introducing more Data Connectors for live sports and news production.
Furthermore, the Flowics solution is flexible enough that the Data Connectors architecture can integrate on-site data sources through the Flowics Middleware. This flexibility is especially beneficial for users that deal with data sources that are only available in a local area network instead of on the internet.
Finally, through a recent update, Flowics Middleware will support Flowics Data Connectors. As a result, broadcasters that subscribe to Flowics Middleware and any of the available Flowics Data Connectors will be able to integrate live data from any of the 20-plus data providers already natively integrated into whatever third-party graphics engine they choose. That means Flowics customers will have many more options when using the connectors to create data-driven broadcast graphics. Through this plug-and-play solution, certain Flowics Data Connectors will be available for integration with on-premises graphics engines from third-party vendors such as Chyron, Ross, and Vizrt.
