Video Clarity Successful at IBC

Visitors to the Video Clarity IBC stand had the opportunity to observe and interact with its newest Test & Measurement and quality analysis products, and ask questions.

Video Clarity demonstrated ClearView Extreme 4K with HDR function. ClearView Extreme also allows users to test video quality in new SMPTE compliant networks with the new 10 Gigabit IP interface option. 10 Gig IP is an option to the 4K configuration.

Separately, a RTM was demonstrated in a SMPTE ST 2110 test system, monitoring levels of audio and video quality and finding and tracking potential lip sync issues.

In another live demonstration, a RTM was used to automatically check for audio and video quality in file creation and delivery environments such as post-production, a satellite distribution facility or in an AWS Cloud environment.

The company also showcased ClearView IP, the newest member of its ClearView line of video quality analyzers and an all-new product category for IP infrastructure use. The ClearView IP system allows users to play, record, and test quality of video over IP networks according to new video-transport standards. It also provides the option to mix SDI functions in the same system.

ClearView IP plays or records up to two channels of uncompressed video programming from a high-capacity testing server into a SMPTE 2022-6/7-compliant network. ClearView IP can apply the new IP standards and can play while recording in the IP domain. It is designed for manufacturers and programmers of broadcast products to use in their test labs.

The ClearView Venue Player was also demonstrated. It is a video server that automatically plays multiple uncompressed segments of content to multiple screens in precise timing and sequence. It is Video Clarity's first product in the entertainment-playback market, and is designed for broadcast, theme parks, live events, staged shows, and other environments that rely on repeated, synchronized video playback for entertainment and display.

Venue Player also includes MultiPlayer Manager, an application that enables browser-based control over configuration and playback.
