Mark Roberts Motion Control Reveals plans for IBC 2017
Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) will be demonstrating a selection of products from their wide catalogue of studio and broadcast studio camera robots, pan-tilt camera heads (including the Whisperhead and Robotic Pod) and their latest MHC camera control software.
MRMC are excited to showcase their new Spry Cam-Track Dolly — an automated camera lift platform (robot dolly) with a wide range of application features. The Spry has been designed for ultra-quiet smooth and silent track operation, regardless of studio floor surface thanks to its innovative dual-track motion system and stable column lift. The Spry appears at IBC fitted with our MRMC SFH-50 multi-axis camera head.
At IBC 2017 MRMC will showcase their ability to create custom designed robotics and tracking devices, with one example being the creation of customized robotics and tracking devices for the Journal National broadcast studio in Brazil.
Sky Sports World Darts project
Lastly, MRMC will be elaborating on their recent case study on camera automation for UK's Sky Sports’ PDC Darts Championships coverage. As the MRMC MHC software has received a lot of traction due to its simple UI operation, as well as the ability to custom design the control dashboard according to the brand or event, Sky requested MRMC create an entire custom look for their PDC World Darts Championship camera operation in the format of a dartboard. At their booth MRMC will explain and expand on the details of their project.
