ITN has implemented a nearline storage cache from Object Matrix.
MatrixStore uses object-based storage technology to provide a secure cache that can be integrated with ITN’s Media Asset Management system, delivering access to recently archived items.
“It is becoming increasingly critical that we can continue to have easy and fast access to the most recently archived items, whilst also protecting, curating, sharing, distributing, and auditing that content,” commented Ian Auger, Head of Engineering, ITN. “MatrixStore gives us that access and control, at the same time as giving us the flexibility to integrate with other parts of the workflow.”
“Working with a globally recognised and respected organisation such as ITN is a huge honour for Object Matrix. Our integrated and automated technology platforms ensure we can meet its current, and future, strategic requirements to ensure access to their growing archive,” stated Nick Pearce, co-founder Object Matrix.
