The Titan transcoder - now with added ProRes
ATEME says its Titan transcoder now supports Apple ProRes decode and encode in all profiles, including Apple ProRes 4444 XQ.
The product is also capable of generating QuickTime MOV files for encapsulation. This feature can be implemented in a variety of workflows like editing, archive, or mezzanine delivery including ones involving high dynamic range (HDR).
The multi-codec/format video transcoding software is for mezzanine, STB and ABR VOD, post-production, playout and archive applications.
“Supporting all profiles of ProRes in Titan File is a significant milestone for ATEME”, said Rémi Beaudouin, VP of Marketing. “This perfectly positions the product to support existing transcoding workflows, as well as emerging ones, like those including HDR.”
