Cineo Lighting Debuts HSX, a Color-Tunable LED Soft Source

Leveraging years of experience in solid-state lighting and material sciences, Cineo Lighting has created HSX, a compact, 25,000 lumen LED fixture with the same color rendering and extended deep-red spectrum as their Remote Phosphor fixtures.

Cineo Lighting said that unlike other color-tunable sources, HSX remains consistent throughout the life of the fixture with no color shift or need for calibration.

HSX has an optimized output of 25,000 lumens for film, video and still photography. The color tuning range is 2700K to 6000K, with presets at 2700K, 3200K, 4300K, 5600K and 6000K. Output control is 0-100 percent with local control, DMX and RDM support.

The light has flicker-free operation with a color shift of zero percent over the full dimming range. The fixture is silent and has passive cooling with no fans. It is 100 percent compatible with HS accessories and has field serviceable components.

The light uses 400 watts and weighs 25 pounds complete. Price is $3,995. The fixture will be shown at 2016 NAB.
