ATTO and Infortrend certify fibre channel solutions

Storage specialist ATTO Technology is releasing a joint Fibre Channel SAN connectivity solution with Infortrend, a specialist in RAID storage. The solution includes ATTO’s Celerity 16 Gb/s Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters (HBAs), Thunderbolt 2 enabled Thunderlink Desklink Devices and FibreConnect Switches, which have now been certified with Infortrend’s EonStor DS storage systems.

“This partnership with ATTO not only offers flexible solutions for media and broadcasting professionals but affirms our commitment to deliver the finest storage features and performance,” said Tony Chu, president at Infortrend. “We would like to invite people to experience our storage solutions at NAB 2015, where ATTO will be featured in our live demonstration.”

Benefits to this solution according to both companies include: uninterrupted access to storage while maximizing uptime with consistent and reliable access to content; cross-compatibility with support for multiple operating systems and Advanced Data Streaming for superior performance with controlled latency and acceleration of data.
