Cincinnati Bell Selects Vecima’s CDN

MediaScaleX will deploy across all of Cincinnati Bell’s markets in Greater Cincinnati and Hawaii, and offers integrated OTT content, Cloud DVR, Start Over TV, Catch Up TV, and unified search.

Through the MediaScaleX platform, regional content origination sites enable subscribers to access both local and national video feeds anywhere within the provider’s footprint through a single integrated UI.

MediaScaleX/Origin and Storage solutions feed into MediaScaleX/Cache infrastructure and will offer increased capacity and new services within Cincinnati Bell’s content platform. Supported services will include live and on-demand content life-cycle management, time-shifted TV streaming, just-in-time packaging, content protection, and delivery to a wide variety of IP devices.
