London-based social media content production company That Lot has a new multi-camera studio designed and built by ATG Danmon that features a production studio with lighting, vision and audio mixing, routing, recording, monitoring and archiving.
The new studio is equipped with Blackmagic Design URSA UHD cameras that can be used both indoors and in the field. There’s also a Blackmagic Atem HD production switcher and a Smart Videohub UHD-capable router, capturing to Softron recorders and Studio Network Solutions EVO networked storage.
Ben Forder, Head of Video at That Lot, said that the new studio and its control suite enable his team to offer clients versatile resources for creating broadcast-quality content for a wide range of media applications.
A back-lit LED cyclorama in the studio provides sharp chroma-key superimposition onto on any background. Lighting comes from a ceiling-mounted rig that can be adjusted to get the exact style of illumination for live-streaming or recording sketches, scripted videos, interviews, podcasts, vodcasts and social media photoshoots.
The studio and its control suite feature versatile resources for creating broadcast-quality content for a wide range of media applications.
They have also integrated Apple iMac Pro computers for editing and post-production work as well as Cirro Lite lighting, multiscreen as well as individual video monitors, a studio floor monitor, green room monitor, Allen & Heath digital audio mixing console, a Custom Consoles control room desk and a Sonifex audio talkback (commentary) system.
ATG Danmon has also built a live production and editing suite. External material can be sourced from wherever required or we can perform high quality production on location.
Founded in 2014 by comedian, actor, writer and director David Schneider, That Lot specializes in “social-first” platform-specific content and production. The company’s staff includes creatives, designers, writers and videographers, as well as project managers and account teams led by Laura Tannenbaum, ex-social media and marketing specialist at Bauer Media, News UK and Global Radio.
