SanDisk To Release Extreme Pro CFexpress Type B Memory Card 

SanDisk’s Type B CFExpress utilizes the same form factor as Sony’s XQD cards, CFexpress Type B cards but the cards are much faster at reading and writing with speeds of 1700MB/s and 1400MB/s with the 512 GB model.

SanDisk said the speed of the new cards surpass other high speed cards offering consistent recording and enhanced workflow efficiency. The cards offer smooth 4K video performance, while the cfexpress form factor captures raw 4K video with sustainable, low-latency performance in video recording.

The card is backward-compatible with select XQD cameras that Adopt firmware enabling Express, the express Card type B Bridges existing devices with the future of technology. There is file recovery with RescuePRO Deluxe software, which comes with the card as a download. This software allows the recovery of files that have been accidentally deleted.
