Telestream Spotlights Video Quality Assurance Solutions At NAB NY and SMPTE LA

The Telestream IQ system provides a single-point intuitive video service management and troubleshooting.solution.
Telestream will use the two fall shows, NAB NY and SMPTE LA to showcase a fully virtualized end-to-end adaptive bit rate (ABR) video monitoring and analytics software suite.
Using this unique virtualized version of the company’s iQ signal processing solution, the probe installation and configuration exercise has shortened from taking several days of an engineer’s time to just a few minutes.
Leveraging the integrated monitoring approach pioneered by Telestream’s iQ family of video quality assurance solutions, this new approach ensures Quality of Experience (QoE) for subscribers and Quality of Service (QoS) for service providers. It spans the entire content production and distribution network, right up to a consumer’s living room or mobile device.
Telestream iQ video monitoring and analytics solutions encompass data ingest to viewer data acquisition, including pre/post encoder, publishing and post origin/cache stages, through to third party analytics post end client integration. The system provides a single integrated graphical user interface for intuitive video service management and troubleshooting.
The company said that for over 15 years, its IQ video monitoring and analytics solution has been proven to strengthen user brands; fixing issues before subscriber impact, while also providing video quality metrics to monitor consumer metrics.
Also on show will be the latest version of Vantage, the company's powerful, scalable, software-enabled media processing platform that manages all media services from the camera to the point of distribution. Vantage allows content owners, producers, and distributors to quickly, easily, and cost-effectively ingest, edit, transform, package, monetize, and distribute their media.
Telestream also will highlight the integration capabilities of Vantage with third-party technology. For example, the new Avid Production Asset Monitor in Vantage supports MediaCentral directory monitoring and allows Vantage to trigger jobs from MediaCentral ‘virtual directories’.
Vantage Post Producer’s Titler Engine enables the processing of NewBlue Titler Pro templates as part of Post Producer workflows for rich, animated graphics and titles. In addition, Titler Designer Pro now supports the import of Adobe After Effects projects direct into Vantage workflows.
Telestream's cross-platform, all-in-one live streaming production software, Wirecast will be demonstrate. The easy-to-use system allows anyone to broadcast professional live productions in a matter of minutes with a fully-configured system built for live event streaming. The Wirecast Gear workstation comes with Wirecast Pro live streaming production software and a professional graphics package.
At NAB NY, Telestream will also showcase Wirecast Live Captions, providing the ability to embed live closed captions within streams using automatic speech recognition (ASR) and then distribute to YouTube, Facebook and any other RTMP destination. Visitors to the Telestream booth will also be able to take a look at the all new Wirecast Restream, a cloud-based redistribution service that restreams live feeds to any additional destinations simultaneously, saving bandwidth and processing power.
