GatesAir Showcases International Solutions at IBC 2018

GatesAir says its products are optimized for international markets noting that all of its Maxiva TV and DAB/DAB+ transmitters rely on the latest generation of 50V LDMOS power devices, using compact high-efficiency power supplies and Maxiva XTE exciter technology with real-time adaptive correction (RTAC) to ensure maximum performance.

GatesAir will showcase several products in its IBC 2018 stand. Highlights include the Maxiva UAXTE high-efficiency, air-cooled UHF-TV transmitter, the Maxiva VAXTE DAB/DAB+ transmitter, the Maxiva XTE software-defined exciter and the Maxiva ULXTE high-power, high-efficiency liquid-cooled UHF-TV transmitter. 

The Maxiva UAXTE is a compact air-cooled UHF TV transmitter with GatesAir’s groundbreaking PowerSmart Plus architecture. The Maxiva UAXTE provides an energy-efficient, broadband solution to reliably deliver rich, high-quality multiformat content to viewers at home and on the move.

For those applications where liquid-cooling is desired, GatesAir offers the Maxiva ULXTE UHF-TV transmitter. Key performance parameters include:

The exciter provides unparalleled signal processing power, a smaller footprint and advanced Transport Stream over IP (TSoIP) input capabilities. Exciter provides new, advanced Real-Time Adaptive Correction (RTAC) techniques, providing optimum signal performance over a wide variety of modulations and RF amplifier topologies.

The Maxiva XTE supports a full range of digital broadcast standards, including ATSC, DVB-T/H, DVB-T2, ISDB-T, DTMB, DAB/DAB+/DMB. It is upgradeable to future new modulations, including ATSC 3.0, as they become available.
