Blue Microphones Introduces the Yeti Nano

Blue Microphones has introduced the Yeti Nano, a premium USB microphone designed for broadcast-quality podcasting, YouTube productions, game streaming, Skype/VoIP and voiceover work.
Blue said the Yeti Nano features 24-bit sound quality, a compact design and plug ’n play operation for instant streaming with a Mac or PC. The premium finish looks good on video cameras. It has a no-latency headphone output and controls for headphone volume, mic mute and pickup pattern.
Blue said the company designed two new mic capsules specifically tuned to give the human voice exceptional presence and detail. The new mic also supports 24-bit/48kHz recording. The mic has a cardioid pattern to record sound sources that are directly in front of the microphone, and an omni mode best used for multi-person interviews.

Blue Sherpa App
For direct control, the Blue Sherpa companion app mutes and unmutes the mic and headphones, fine-tune gain and levels, switch polar patterns and change sample rates. Sherpa will also download firmware updates directly to the Yeti Nano, keeping users up to date.
Price is $99.99.
