Cooke Announces New Focal Lengths for S7/i Full Frame and Panchro/i Classic Lenses

Cooke has announced new focal lengths for the S7/i full frame and Panchro/i Classic ranges. The S7/I is designed to cover the large format digital cinema cameras: ARRI Alexa LF, Sony Venice and Red Weapon 8K.

Cooke Optics is releasing a range of lenses for the emergent full frame cinema camera sensors up to the full sensor area (46.31mm image circle) of the Red Weapon 8K. The S7/i purpose-built full frame lens range will include a 16mm, 21mm, 27mm and 65mm.

The Panchro/i Classic prime lenses, which offer a vintage look with modern housing will see 21mm, 27mm, 65mm Macro and 135mm complementing the range. The Panchro/i Classic 135mm is the first to be completed and will be available for demonstration at NAB 2018. The remaining focal lengths, which are consistent with Cooke’s other lens ranges, will all be available by the end of the year.
