TV Markíza Chooses GENESIX for Live Production

Slovakia’s largest private TV station, TV Markíza, selected Stryme’s video server – GENESIX V7 – for live production. Eight input and four output channels provide TV Markìza with a flexible multi-cam ingest solution.

Stryme’s 2U GENESIX video server features 12 HD channels (8 ingest, 4 output) and proved the ideal solution for the confined spaces of TV Markíza’s OB vans.

Synchronized recordings from several camera settings are copied in parallel to an external NAS storage, using the Transfer While Capture function. Edit While Capture enables users to quickly deliver the right clips. For quick and easy retrieval, the new AutoNaming function automatically names and categorizes clips and camera settings in logically structured directories and sub-directories.

AutoNaming also makes it straightforward to customize individual user profiles and reuse clips at a later stage or for other productions. For efficient Multi-Cam Ingest, all eight grouped ingest channels are started simultaneously.

“Our goal was to offer TV Markíza a simplified operation with even more mobile possibilities,” explains Stryme CEO Goce Zdravkovski. “That’s why we were very happy to work in tandem with Elvia-Pro to integrate the GENESIX and realize our very first project in Slovakia.”
