NewTek TriCaster and NewsCaster COMPOSE Simplify Live Production

One tightly integrated, two-vendor system can take once-complicated live TV newscast productions to air with a few clicks.

The NewsMaker NewsCaster COMPOSE is designed to fit into TV news workflow with minimal disturbance. It automatically centralizes all media assets and makes them available via a built-in ActiveX Plug-in. No extra software or external video server is necessary.

COMPOSE works in tandem with the powerful NewTek TriCaster. The integration puts all the show production capabilities into the hands of one or everyone, affordably. It makes a TriCaster transcend the limitations and pressure of manual operation, becoming a next-generation production workstation.

It allows any user to conveniently and efficiently design a show from the ground up. It automates the initial loading of the TriCaster, saving up to an hour of manual preparation per broadcast. It allows users to design a show, load the TriCaster and take it to air, all with one intuitive user interface. Simplified centralized workflow saves on time, money and frustration.

COMPOSE can handle any number of different media assets. In conjunction with the NewsCaster Server, all the elements of a show are at an operator’s fingertips. The operator can drag-and-drop elements into the show.

Dynamic timing allows a user to calculate hittime, backtime, and plan for live segments automatically, even during a live show. A built-in player window that gives the operator full control of the show, and take it to air with just a few clicks. What used to take hours now takes seconds.

COMPOSE allows users design and store multiple different shows. Switching between them takes seconds, not hours. Shows can be designed ahead of time and when they are ready to go, COMPOSE takes care of the previously routine and complicated assembly work.

NewsMaker partners include NewTek, Avid, AP ENPS, Octopus, Annova and Ross Video.
