3READY Powers Google’s Android TV Operator Tier Demo At IBC 2017

3 Screen Solutions (3SS) showcased its 3READY Android TV Client as a custom launcher for Google’s Android TV Operator Tier Program at IBC 2017.

3 Screen Solutions made its IBC debut this year showcasing a demonstration of 3READY acting as a custom launcher for Android TV.  Targeted at service providers, 3READY can help fast-track service launches for IPTV, OTT, satellite STB, cable STB and/or multiscreen devices.

During IBC 2017, 3READY was highlighted on the stands of several high-profile 3SS partners that have integrated the technology in their end-to-end video solutions. Google also demonstrated 3READY as an example of a custom launcher for an Android TV operator tier.

At 3READY’s core is a flexible best-practice frontend pre-engineered to deliver today’s most compelling functional requirements. An operator can introduce branded services faster with state-of-the-art application architecture ready to customise to the operator’s needs.

3READY is particularly geared to help optimize Android-based STB and multiscreen deployments, which are growing in popularity among operators.

The custom launcher is fully compliant with the latest Android TV Operator Tier guidelines and features of Android N and is future-ready to embrace upcoming Android O.

3SS also announced new 3READY features that deliver enhanced branding, marketing and revenue opportunities. Service providers can develop content packages that cater to specific audience groups, with a look and feel and UX that can be customized with channel and content brands managed via the 3READY Control Center.

3READY delivers operational and cost efficiencies through integrated A/B testing while advanced analytics tell the operator which content and subscriber offers are performing best. Such data can help the operator make better and faster business decisions.
