Axon TRACS compliance recorder.
Compliance logging is for most broadcasters a legal requirement. Make the process easy with AXON TRACS.
The AXON TRACS records non-stop, 24/7/365 while automatically cataloguing and purging. The system's internal large hard-disk storage capacity and FIFO-based recording mean that tape recording and storage costs are history. The system's operation is maintenance free.
Along with compliance recording and video logging, TRACS can provide company-wide air-checks and integrity checking of all broadcast outputs. TRACS can notify technical managers via email and SNMP, when video or audio errors occur, making the system a valuable and versatile last-point QC for the broadcaster.
TRACS relies on a Linux OS and runs on dedicated hardware equipped with RAID 5-configured disks. The system is safe and secure, providing automatic recording with no direct access to recorded content and a sophisticated user-management system.
A key feature of TRACS is live stream forwarding, which enables the user to create a unicast or multicast (depending on system settings) of a live video stream over a local area network. All computers on the network can connect to this video and audio stream without needing the TRACS client application and without using up additional bandwidth per individual live view.
