Flanders Scientific IBC News

Flanders Scientific made a strong showing at IBC, introducing a new monitor, demonstrating the production model of another new monitor, and debuting new features and other products shown for the first time in Europe.

Flanders Scientific (FSI) provided the world with a first look at its brand new XM310K monitor. The 31" display is a 4K monitor with 4096 x 2160 native resolution. It displays 2,000 cd/m2 peak luminance with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and is designed to be a HDR reference mastering monitor supporting multiple HDR formats.

One of the first XM550U production models was also on exhibit. It is a 55" OLED panel UHD Monitor, with 3840x2160 UHD native resolution. It is designed to primarily be a SDR Mastering Monitor or HDR Preview Monitor, and it supports 12G, 6G, and Quad 3G SDI connections

Also on display were the latest DM series monitors now including new Customizable Multi-Color Waveform and 3rd Generation Focus Assist features. ScopeStream Waveform and VectorScope views for DM series monitors and BoxIO devices are now fully integrated into LiveGrade Pro. The new DM series features debuted in Europe at IBC.
