Sencore Adopts intoPIX JPEG2000

Compression specialist IntoPIX has had its JPEG2000 codec licensed by Sencore for it new line of SDI2X products.

The integration of the intoPIX cores will enable Sencore to support next-generation broadcasting services, including VSF TR01 standard.

Known for their innovations in compression technologies, intoPIX is delivering JPEG2000 cores that can reach less than 10 milliseconds of end-to-end latency, and a quality outperforming those of alternative solutions in the market. They are delivering more than a standard implementation of J2K because of their continued innovation.” said Aaron Doughten, Senior Product Manager at Sencore.
