Panasonic Announces AJ-P2M064BG MicroP2 Card B Memory Card

Panasonic announced the AJ-P2M064BG microP2 card B Series at IBC in Amsterdam. The new card is scheduled to go on sale in late September, 2017.

Panasonic said the new 64GB card is compatible with SD cards, enabling use as an SDXC memory card for the Panasonic UX Series, AVC camera recorders and LUMIX digital cameras.

Panasonic said its SD Cards meet the demanding requirements of industrial and commercial applications. Built for ruggedized solutions, the cards can operate in severe environmental conditions, prevent data corruption due to power failure and offer high program/erase endurance.

The SD/SDHC memory cards implement built-in industrial NAND flash memory. The Single Level Cell (SLC) and Multi Level Cell (MLC) SD Cards have a Panasonic-designed controller, prompting greater control over the firmware and customization options for the customer.
