Merging Technologies' ANEMAN audio network manager is now linked to the Pyramix digital audio workstation.
Merging Technologies leadership in Audio over IP technology continues at IBC 2017. The company focus now moves the discovery and management of audio networks with ANEMAN, which is now included in the latest version of Pyramix.
Merging Technologies' ANEMAN enables easier creation and management of Pyramix 11 and Ovation 7 networks, compared with previous management tools. ANEMAN partner companies' products now can be quickly connected to the audio network.
An enterprise version of ANEMAN will be displayed on stand. This version does not require merging equipment to be present and is designed for larger installations and system integrators where additional features are required. With the Enterprise release, Merging Technologies can now provide additional support and assistance in network engineering.
This version is available as an annual software maintenance programme and is applicable to facilities with larger networks where complex routing and management may be required. ANEMAN is supported by a range of virtual audio device drivers for Mac, PC and Linux, all of which can be integrated into third party solutions.
Other products on display include Pyramix 10/Ovation 6, now with 3D planning workflows. This software release enables the use of the b<>com suite of plug-ins, which are particularly suited to ambisonic and binaural production for VR projects.
Control of immersive panning can be enhanced with 3D mouse products from 3DConnexion. Windows10 support now extends to the MassCore products as well as Native and the latest MacBook boot camp version performs well with a Win10/P11 Native combination.
For OEM applications, ZMan is a new compact and powerful RAVENNA circuit board, which affords the advantages of a networked solution to audio components of all sizes. Fully AES67 compliant, the ZMan can cut development time for manufacturers wanting to enter the expanding world of AoIP.
The latest version of ANEMAN is available as a free download from the Merging website.
