To increase the probability that indoor, pedestrian, and mobile users will receive reliable service, the new ATSC 3.0 networks need to saturate the intended coverage area with a signal level above the required target level. ATSC 3.0 has adopted a Multiple-Input Single Output (MISO) antenna scheme to improve the overall performance in a SFN, known as Transmit Diversity Code Filter Sets (TDCFS).
