Bridge Technologies to Monitor TOT’s IP Networks in Thailand

Bridge Technologies has announced the successful deployment of Bridge Technologies’ award winning video services monitoring solution at TOT Public Company Limited, Thailand’s largest fixed line and mobile network operator.

Specifically developed for terrestrial broadcasting applications, Bridge Technologies’ system ensures the integrity of the DVB-T2 specific encapsulation and the individual services carried within that encapsulation, at TOT’s central distribution location at Khlong Toei, Bangkok, and at provincial antenna sites. Combined with Bridge Technologies’ IP network performance monitoring, the system is able to detect any specific network issues as well as provide understanding of the effects of any such issues on the integrity of the data stream.

James Chance, Bridge Technologies regional manager APAC said “The use of third party national and international IP-based video contribution networks is growing, for which network performance and video service monitoring systems are proving to be an invaluable component in both operations and as part of the business relationship.”
