Most of this industry’s professionals did not attend the 2017 NAB Show. And those who did could not have visited all 1800 exhibitors. Here is a review of some of the technology you may have missed.

Sunday afternoon streets and sidewalks were ready for NAB Show exhibit visitor arrivals.
The FCC Spectrum Repack makes history repeat itself as TV transmitter, antenna and broadcast RF systems exhibits are some of the most crowded at the 2017 NAB Show. Demand for new TV RF systems hasn’t been this strong since the DTV transition early last decade.
Approximately 1000 US TV stations were just given their FCC date deadline to change channels for the repack.
