Object Matrix Focuses on Rapid Archive Access

Object Matrix is putting the focus on MatrixStore which it terms a Digital Content Governance (DCG) platform.

The DCG platform, Object Matrix explains, is designed to assist content producers in the increasingly competitive environment in which they operate. As more and more content is being produced at higher resolutions, producers are facing a veritable deluge of data which is becoming increasingly difficult to manage.

“[It] can ensure organisations have access to their content immediately as required and without delay. Not only is content more easily accessed, but it is also more secure and protected within this platform. By providing automated and integrated business continuity functionality, users are able to continue managing content even in the case of an outage.

“The archive platform is also capable of ensuring access controls are strictly adhered to so the right people have access to the right content. This content can be automatically migrated thanks to MatrixStore, to ensure it is always future-proof. One example being migration to a new format.”

A number of updates for Object Matrix’s web-based browser application, MatrixStore Vision, will also be announced at the 2017 NAB Show.
