TMD Highlight Production Asset Management

OnPoint supports the browse and selection of clips
TMD has a range of asset management modules which can be used on their own or combined as part of the firm’s umbrella Mediaflex Unified Media Services (UMS) platform.
OnPoint, for example, supports the browse and selection of clips, restoring for edit, integration with craft editors from Avid and Adobe, all with controlled user access rights.
“OnPoint’s low start-up costs makes it a particularly cost-effective way for owners to harness full control over content import, their creative processes, and delivery,” said TMD CEO Tony Taylor. “The power of the software, and the level of detail and automated control provided, deliver a remarkable return on investment.”
Other solutions include Aperture, a new ingest tool; Chameleon, which enables staff to manage media, search for content, and raise work orders; and Guardian which provides accessioning, acquisitioning, preservation, storage, and the management of physical and digital collections. The firm's Paragon is an archiving solution that now supports MAID storage systems and LTO-7 data storage. Paragon+ is the related content management software. Each media service can be used as a stand-alone solution, or be combined using TMD’s Mediaflex-UMS platform.
Because Mediaflex-UMS can be fully virtualised, it can run and scale flexibly on premise, in a data centre, in the cloud, or in any combination that suits the precise needs of the customer.
Taylor added, “Software-defined workflows can now sit at the very heart of a broadcast operation, and these exciting new packages keep things running with exceptional speed, finesse, and stability.”
