Sennheiser and Neumann to Show Ambeo 3D Plus New Microphones at 2016 NAB

Sennheiser and Neumann will team up at 2016 NAB to demonstrate Ambeo 3D audio 9.1 as well as introduce new microphones.
Sennheiser and Neumann said the Ambelo 3D Audio 9.1 installation will feature a selection of Neumann monitor loudspeakers and a virtual-reality experience recorded with Sennheiser’s Ambeo VR microphone.
At the show, Sennheiser will also launch the MKE 440 stereo microphone for DSLR cameras. The MKE 440 uses a new type of stereo arrangement to create exceptional audio results for DSLR users.

Sennheiser will also preview its new HandMic digital and the MK 4 digital, the latest products developed in cooperation with A/D conversion specialists, Apogee. The new mics have been created in cooperation with Apogee for users that prefer to record audio via their smart devices.
Sennheiser said the new microphones will yield excellent results, whether used in mobile journalism, for producing podcasts or for making studio-quality mobile audio recordings.

2016 NAB show also marks the U.S. launch of the Sennheiser EK 6042 two-channel camera receiver, which works with digital and analog transmitters or a mix thereof.
The new microphones and speakers are designed for mobile journalism, ENG, filmmaking, DSLRs, live broadcasting, radio stations, 9.1 studio monitoring or sports broadcasting, Sennheiser said.
